Could you put in a function for live captioning for deaf attendees?
What are you doing to address accessibility issues?
Yes, like Zoom and other platforms, which use an API key for Closed Captioning. Afterall, over 15% of the worlds population have Accessibility issues.
Yes yes yes - accessibility is a must.
There needs to be an integration for sight impared as well.
We are hosting events for disabled folks.
The American’s With Disabilities Act has specific requirements for websites and I don’t think REMO is in compliance
By law all our university teaching videos have to be subtitled. This rules out the use of Remo for teaching..
I had a comment/request about this today from a hard-of-hearing attendee who couldn’t hear the narrative above some background music on a video. Thx.
One temporary solution that might help is using a youtube channel. If you have a youtube channel, you could strem it into remo and unable the close caption feature in youtube.
